Treatment Processes - tel 01977 714000
Our fire retardant treatment processes are carried out under controlled conditions in modern industrial treatment plants within our treatment centre.
Each treatment process involves a high pressure impregnation of the fire retardant solution followed by kiln drying and heat curing (Non-Com Exterior) to a specific moisture content.
Lonza Wood Protection is a BS EN ISO 9001 registered company and our continual assessment against this quality standard includes the Castleford Service Treatment Centre. This treatment facility is also now accredited to BS EN ISO 14001 in terms of environmental aspects of our business.
The Treatment Process

PLEASE NOTE.
If DRICON or NON-COM EXTERIOR fire retardant treated timber is cut, notched or drilled during installation, the exposed surfaces must be treated with either ENSELE end grain preservative to maintain the integrity of the protective treatment.
